Cat

Today I've drawn just a normal cat. Cats are very soft dignified creatures, so this one gave me a chance to try out more of my Letraset marker colouring ^^

This is in particular a Siamese Cat, I really like their markings :)

The cat was requested by Vicki Paul, a 3D modeller and illustrator. You can check out her website here:

http://vickipaull.com/

I've always loved her cartoony abstract artwork ^_^

Today I also updated my webcomic, Strangers and Friends. Do check it out if you don't know it:

http://hemu.smackjeeves.com/

It's set in my home town, Wootton Bassett, and the main character is a geeky Indian vampire hunter, if thats enough to sell it to you :P

European Mole

A European Mole. I'm calling it a 'European Mole' because there are quite a lot of different and interesting kinds of mole out there, so this wont be the only one I draw ^^  Moles are a great example of the wonders of evolution! Also, I found out today their sleep pattern consists of sleeping for 8-20 minutes, then digging for an hour or so before sleeping again!

Irina Richards requested this =3 Shes a fellow member of Sweatdrop Studios, a comic group I'm a part of,

and you can see her artwork on her website:

She does a great drama web comic, Chemical Blue, which I really like :)

I promise this isnt just a blog advertising other artists!! XD

Giant Squid

A giant squid. Giant squids are scarily big, if I was good at metric systems I would've drawn a diver beside to show size comparison.

Requested randomly by Willie Hewes :D You can check out her website here:

Shes an illustrator and does helpful blog posts about coping and reflecting on life!

I've been in EXpo 3 days straight, very tiring! I spent today trying to do work but uncontrollably falling asleep haha! From today onwards Daily Animal will be daily!

Platypus

My first animal of my project- a Platypus. Probably one of the weirdest animals

to walk (and swim) the earth! I'm going to London Expo over the weekend to sell comics,

so I may not be uploading an animal for a few days! This is a really fun way to practice

my illustration skills, I hope anyone reading will enjoy!
